1. First of all, we need to create an scenario.
-Think about the context in SPECIFIC CONTENT-LANGUAGE OBJECTIVES. REFERENCE MATERIALS.
We can keep that same situation in mind, because it places you all in an interesting starting point: New in a school where you take the role of a content teacher while the language teacher is not there to help...
... Or you can set a new scenario, according to your own interests or needs. The main point is to decide the age and background of the students.
-You also need to define which content area will you work from: maths, science, EP, arts, etc.
-Finally do some research to be aware of both the L2 and the subject's previous level of competence that those students may have. We always think in terms of "skills", but thinking of "knowledge" may also help with certain subjects.
Eg: If we choose maths it'd be easier to spot some abilities such as "Can they operate with fractions or decimals at this level"? while if we choose literature or history maybe focusing on notions will be more practical: "Do they know who Richard I, the Lionheart was"?
2. Then, we need to set the objectives of the lesson.
-Thinking about this carefully will help us focus and save time later. So, don't rush!
-Here are the aspects seen in the previous lesson:

-You can also watch a real example of a teacher using WALT and WILF to set clear and integrated objectives for his lesson: (0:00 to 4:20)
3. Now, write a draft lesson plan. Include:
-The objectives of the lesson. What will children be able to do (regarding both language-content areas) after the lesson.
-The real-life scenario/ imaginary context where the reinforced skills could be put into practice. This is a good chance to motivate our students, helping them to find a meaningful purpose to get involved.
Eg. They are 16 y-o students. The aims are:
- Predicting the (use of the IA in the near) future.
- Supporting our opinion with reasons.
- interpreting statistical data.
The real scenarios/ imaginary contexts could be:
- Publish an article in the School's website.
- Give a talk in an event about technology.
- Get grant to study journalism abroad.
- Participate in a debate contest.
- The tasks or activities we would suggest our students to do.
- Some ideas about which strategies might be used to help/ make our students to use the L2.

Note which difficulties you found along the process.
